What are you looking forward to this service term?
I am looking forward to serving along awesome other members to improve the health of underserved populations. I am excited to learn more about eye health and how to simplify complex medical information, so that all patients can understand their own health better. I look forward to building a community of friends, making everlasting memories with them while living out my dreams of making access to care more equal.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps service?
I hope to become a doctor and pursue a career that combines my passion for serving vulnerable populations with global and public health. My ultimate goal would be to volunteer as a physician in a free clinic or work for Doctors Without Borders.
